We randomly chose to stop here for lunch and it did not disappoint! The service was wonderful, and the food was delicious. Happy to have a local brew on tap, and that's a big part of the fun. The building was super cool, of course. It felt more local, while also being touristy because of its location - which can't be helped.

Granary tavern is definitely a convenient spot to get lunch if you are in Boston or visiting the harbor walk. Lots of seating inside both upstairs and downstairs. They also have outdoor seating overlooking the greenway which is nice. Very average menu for what you would expect in this location including market priced lobster and other salads/sandwiches for lunch. The Nashville Hot chicken sandwich was good but if you really like Nashville hot I would ask them to make sure it's actually hot! Mine was a bit mild for my taste. Overall good place to go with friends for food and drinks but I don't think I would come here for a date or for dinner with visitors.

This is a gastropub right next to the aquarium, which is super convenient if you plan to visit the aquarium. The fish & chips is a bit pricey but they do give you large portions so that helps. The shrimp was also good but there is a big upcharge when you add it to the salads (+12 dollars). The mussels were okay and the breakfast nachos were good. Overall, a good place to check out if you're in the mood for seafood.

Very good place for dinner in a convenient location right by the New England Aquarium on Milk St. If you're anything like me, it's a real Bostonian privilege to be able to spend a day at the aquarium and conclude the day with dinner downtown. My girlfriend and I came here for dinner on a Sunday around 5PM. Right off the bat, I noticed that the restaurant is clean and elegant, and that the host was very friendly. Very good vibes right off the bat. I asked for a table by an outlet so I could charge my phone, and the host was very accommodating and went to go check if they had one available. We were seated, and I was happy that I could charge my phone while dining. We ordered Shirley Temples as our drink and two entrees for dinner. The Shirleys were very good, had a perfect amount of grenadine, and were aesthetically pleasing. For my entree, I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich which came with fries. It was very good and I enjoyed having ciabatta bread as the vessel. It was jam packed with bacon, chipotle mayo, and avocado. The fries were also very tasty, with the right amount of salt and a perfect cut (not too thin, not too thick, but juuuuust right!). My girlfriend ordered the Thai salad which she got as a half portion with additional grilled chicken. It was very good, but a bit on the sweeter side with the ingridients and dressing. It also came with noodles which were a good addition. In short, the food was very delicious, but the service was a bit on the slower side despite the restaurant not being crowded at all. We had to wait a while between ordering, getting our food, and getting the bill. However, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, so I give them five stars. This will now be my go-to place when I visit the wharf. Good job Granary!

Not gonna lie this place is a cool little hub. First place as a tourist hearing the Bostonian accent. I went here with my coworkers during Valentine's and it was a good vibe. Ambiance: Old school, rustic. It's a tavern guys. Chill Cozy lights. Food: Lobster rangoons were pricey and okay. like I didn't expect much, but could use more creaminess. Truffle fries were good though! Crispy, salty, with a hint of truffle. Service: Awesome. We were complicated when it comes to payment , but the waitress knew what to do . A nice chill place to hang out for drinks!

On the day we visited, brunch was still being served at 2 which was perfect. All 3 of our meals were delicious. I had the overnight oats - very hearty and filling. We had a couple of cocktails which were tasty and well crafted. The prices were average for being in a more tourist-y part of the city. Our service was good and the view from the window was quite nice. A for ambience! Worth noting: the door under the The Granary sign was not the correct entry way. Gotta go to the next door down if you want to get in.
